Well well well...I took my first online test {AIMCAT 1018} on 5th july...!!My slot was from 4 pm. Reached the TIME centre at 3:40 pm , get to know that its at another place TAI Institute. Rushed to search that place after asking hell lot of people , finally reached that place at 3:50 approx.As I entered the centre, I get to see few students surrounding the TIME personnel complaining about their issues. Some says...the test is not submitting, the other..the attempts review is displaying wrong... etc etc..!So I made up my mind that get ready for some technical issues. I got a system at 4:00 pm approx. After login and clicking at AIMCAT 1018 link..the page asked for access code to proceed to the test... I asked for the code and the TIME people gave different code to everyone..and three sheets of blank papers. When I enetered the code it displayed :" inavlid code".I told the TIME personnel about the issue they asked me to try few more times. I tried for approx. 20-25 times and was really annoyed and ask them again. They said, the previous batch people had to wait for 1 hour..I was like:what:@#$%
He asked me to logout-login few times.. I logout and login approx. 8-9 times.. Finally the page opened..but not totally...again he asked me to login and logout till the page opens up..I repeat the same 3-4 times...finally the AIMCAT 1018 gets to open..my test started at 4:35 approx.About the level of questions, I think the quant questions were below CAT level..One can attempt all the questions..although my attempts were less..thanks to my speed..
P.S.: The TIME site is now displaying that the test dates has been extended..initially it was till 13th..now its till 21st.

FAQ Released about CAT..!!
I hear that CAT will be held online. Is that correct?
CAT is going to be a computer based test (CBT) and not internet based test (IBT). I.e. Candidate does not take the test on an internet site. Instead of reading the questions in a paper booklet and darkening the ovals on the answer-sheet, a candidate will read the questions on a computer terminal and choose an answer by clicking on the correct option.
I hear that CAT will be a computer adaptive test. Is that correct?
No, CAT is not going to be a computer adaptive test.
Will the format of the test change?
The format of the test will remain more or less the same except that a candidate reads question on a computer terminal and clicks on the correct answer.
Can I take the test from any computer?
No. A candidate will take the test only at designated test venues in about 25 cities across India. Detailed information will be provided in the CAT 2009 advertisement.
But how do I do rough-work and calculations while arriving at the answers?
At the test venue, each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/she will be provided with a writing pad with numbered pages for calculations. After the test, candidate must leave the pad including all the pages in it at the desk. Rough-work cannot be done on any other paper/sheet as nothing will be allowed to be taken inside the test hall.
Can you give more details on taking test in a CBT format?

But when is the CAT 2009 advertisement going to appear in newspapers? Advertisement for CAT 2009 will appear during the later part of August 2009.

20 months...12th roomie..phew..!!
Phew..!! So now I have to get my 12th roomie.
One dozen roomie in just 20 months is fair enough point to exclaim someone. But you can't blame me for that, right? I don't have to do anything with the pace my rommie changes. Initially, I used to get irritated when I get to know that my present roomie is leaving and now I will have a new one, coz the tuning is set with a person. But now its absolutely okay with me (as if I have any other option..ROFL). No, seriously its okay with me coz I have an upper hand on the roomie for few days and I love it.
Anyways let me share the reason of for all those roomies who left.
Place 1 (Flat):
Roomie 1: Dimple---> She was in Gurgaon just for 15 days ( some office work) work finished, she left.
Roomie 2: Madhu---> I left that place.
Place 2 (Flat):
Roomie 3: Aakanksha--> The landlord ask us to empty the place and they were planning to give that flat to guys.
Place 3 (PG):
Roomie 4: Shweta--> Had to get married.
Roomie 5: Shaifee--> Job change, new job in Chennai.
Roomie 6: Jeevika--> Went to Delhi.
Roomie 7: Shweta--> Went to other room of the PG as that was more open and spacious.
Roomie 8: Monica--> Went to other room of the PG and she has to study with a gal of the same PG; they both were pursuing the same course.
Roomie 9: Geeta--> Just for 2 days. She find the top floor eerie.
Roomie 10: Neha (Bestest of all of them)--> Hmm..donno the reason.
Roomie 11: Candy--> Just for week--> Very weird reason for her stay itself. ( She wanted to find about her hubby ex gf history who used to stay in our PG).
So, now lets see how is the next roomie. I just have one wish regaring her. She shouldn't have any problem with light on till 2 pm. Rest I will manage, afterall I have an experience to handle so many roomies till date...ROTFL..!!

May-o-May
Well, for me May was a month of lot of twists and turns in all spheres.
In my PG a gal commited suicide, with 15 days of living refugee's life ( coz I cudnt sleep alone in my room..my roomie also left) I am back in my room. :)
After this incident there was another minor incident at my PG.
There was appraisal in office. My sis was not well and I get to know she has got Appendicitis..need to be operated.
There were few more relevant incidents.
But the best point is that all ended well . Just three days and the month will come to an end..!!

No Hope , No Pain..!!
I think when a relation gives more pain than relief more tears than laughs….its better to consider that relation seriously and if no option works its better to break it than to drag it nowhere for more time to go. But I repent why dint I realize it earlier why so late . It could have saved few tears, could have given me more peace of mind. But it’s well said its better late than never. No relation can continue from one side after all, there can be a bit imbalance but not that the burden to prove in a relation should be totally on ones shoulder. I can’t bear it more, no more. I am complacent from my side that I was honest and gave all what the relation demanded but why for the heck of it I would agree just to be taken for granted. I love my self respect and dignity more than anything else and those who want me to compromise on it better stay out of me.
Now I am free of all hitches. Just one line changed my perspective and I am feeling far better now, infact I am feeling totally fine. Well that line was” If you really want to forget someone just eliminate the “HOPE” factor from it”. And whao..!! It worked..!!
Initially, I used to reiterate“ I need to forget..I need to forget”. But somewhere deep in my heart there was a “HOPE” factor . There was no synchronization between the heart and the mind. And I dint had the slightest idea that this synchronization will create wonder. It really did.
I just wish that I just continue in this mode, the "no hope" mode. Its tough, very tough but it is best of all the options available to me.

General Election 2009
Well, this is the most different kinda elction India has witnessed. With lots of emphasis on voting , youths are coming forward to it. Even the compagning is different with the actors and actress of Indian film industry taking part in it and even the mode has been upgraded, internet is also used for the compagning..! Whew..!! good for the betterment but bad that I have not yet got my voter card. Thus no voting from my side but nonetheless I keep asking every person around to vote :-)
I have even updated status of my PG id with " plz do cast your vote and help in making a better India."
It seems quite obvious that coalition govt. is gonna form . Lets see whether our cocky behenji will be the next PM or not. I just wish the new govt. withered away the safety issue forever and no terrorist attack happen on india ever. Did I ask so much..?? :-)
